Leader Gas Petrochem Ltd. is a part of Leader Group of Companies with a turnover for the year ending 31st March 2007 exceeding Rs.104 million. It is a closely held Public Ltd. Company. promoted by Mr Lalchand Gupta. Mr Gupta has vast experience in the LPG business and has also been involved in other businesses viz. Real Estate, Hotels and Retailing Business.

Leader Gas Petrochem Ltd., the flagship Company of the group, was incorporated on 31st July, 1997. Since its inception, it has spread its wings in various activities related to LPG. These include bottling, blending and marketing of LPG for household usage (cooking gas) and for commercial uses. The Company supplies & markets LPG Cylinders in the Household as well as the Commercial segments with the brand name of “Leader Gas”.

Our Head Office is located in Mumbai while we have our own storage, bottling & blending facilities located at Birwadi Village, Tal:- Shahpur, Dist:- Thane. The sprawling 4 acres of campus at Shahpur has been built with the vision of assembling all the related activities under one roof, thereby achieving better control over the process. Our storage tanks have a capacity of storing upto 100 MT of gas. The state-of-the-art bottling plant has a highly capacity of about 120000 cylinders per month. Our entering into an agreement with Hindustan Petroleum for bottling cylinders, is a tribute to our efficiency safety and quality standards.

Recently, we have also commissioned a Blending unit which caters to the needs of industrial gas consumers. The unit is a significant fillip to our future plans as the technical know-how for the same is still a rarity. Our stress on technology & productivity permeates all through the organization. Our R&D team is always on its toes to add value to our existing products.

Distribution is a key factor in the LPG business. Having identified its importance in achieving cost efficiency and with an eye on quality control, we have invested in our own transport network for distribution. Through our own vehicles we manage to reduce the delivery periods, improve delivery time & thus the efficiency, Customer satisfaction as well as prevent any pilferage.
